Where memories become memoirs.

For inspired writers ready to shape their experiences into a book that resonates.

Work With Me

Let me guess…

…you’ve been circling your memoir idea for years.

You get bursts of motivation to work on it, then life happens and you put it away again. Sometimes months pass. Maybe even decades.

You’re not alone.

The truth is, memoir is the hardest genre to write. Not only do you have to dig deep into that vulnerable space to mine your real life for meaning and purpose, but it also requires you to relive your traumatic experiences, figure out how to shape your truth into a story others want to read, and learn to silence the inner critic who pops in too often to ask if your story even really matters.

In short, writing a memoir asks you to “do the work” both in your life and on the page.

But despite all that…

You don’t just want to write this book — you need to write this book.

And I can help.

Hi, I’m Jessica!

I'm a book coach and strategist with a wild story of my own. Writing has always been the tool that helps me process my own trauma and connect to others.

I work with writers who have lived through many twists and turns, and want to bring that very personal story into the world — with clarity, confidence and accountability.

My super power is helping writers find and shape their lived experience into a story others want to read. When you walk in this room, you'll realize you've found a true partner; someone who can walk alongside you through the all the ups and downs of writing a book.

My clients have signed with literary agents, sold their stories to Big Five publishers, self-published and brought their stories to life via hybrid publishing.

There are so many ways to bring your story to life, and my programs take you from memory to memoir, with guidance, community, and transformational feedback along the way.

  • “Working with Jessica has helped to open new dimensions for my memoir manuscript...[S]he has really helped me to dig deep into the heart of my story, uncover my motivation for writing it, and reveal the gaps in my narrative, including ideas for best opening and closing scenes. For anyone working in memoir, I would not hesitate to recommend them to work with Jessica!”

    ~Wiley Wei- Chiun Ho,

Author of THE ASTRONAUT CHILDREN OF DUNBAR STREET: A MEMOIR (Douglas & McIntyre, March 2026)

  • “Jessica is a master at this process. Working with her helped to untangle the yarn in my head and pull the threads 🧵 into a methodical order that I can knit into a cohesive narrative. Thanks, Jessica! It was getting awfully woolly up in the ‘ole noggin.”

    ~Leslie Bradford-Scott,
Author of THE LIAR’S PLAYBOOK: A MEMOIR OF FAMILY AND CRIME (Simon & Schuster, Spring 2026)

  • “Jessica got me to dig deeper into my past in ways I never imagined and helped me find the belief in myself that I could do this. I wake up every morning excited to work on the next chapter and Jessica’s thoughtful feedback gets the wheels turning for ways in which I can improve the next draft. If you’re thinking about writing a memoir, you want someone like Jessica by your side. I swear my memoir would not exist without her.”

  • ”She’ll put you at ease even as she encourages you to take bigger, braver writing risks.”
